Just got home from our road trip. Flew to Nashville then off to Bowling Green for two days. What an awesome place. It was so much more than I ever expected.
Took the guided tour and glad we did because afterwards we knew where we wanted to spend more time. Also tried the Simulator boy if I drove my vette like I did this Sim.. i would have been dead weeks ago.
Truly is a trip worth taking. Afterwards we headed up to Cleveland to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I will say this was a bit of a let down less than what I expected but at least I got there.
So 4 more states we will have been to all 50.
I did the Corvette Museum and factory tour many years ago, well worth the time.
The next time you are in Ohio, check out the Air Force museum at Wright Patterson, wear good walking shoes and be prepared to spend all day.

^^^^^ I second this recommendation. It’s a fabulous place loaded with history. And on your way to Wright Patt, you might also enjoy a stop in Newport Ky for some time at their world class aquarium.

I have never been there but a big music fan as are my friends. I don't know of one person who liked the place, same with Cooperstown. The main thing everybody usually says is it's nothing like you think it would be.

The museum is a very informative place to visit, especially if you are a Corvette enthusiast. Heck, even if you are not and are just an auto enthusiast it is educational. Good luck with the rest of your trip and an early congrats on traveling to all 50 states.

The Dayton Corvette Club is hosting 2 All-Corvette Meet and Greet/Cruise In's at the Air Force Museum on 7/27 & 8/24. .
The Corvette Museum is great, and if you haven't been to see the sinkhole exhibit and cars that were pulled out I'd say its definitely worth it to go back. They are always swapping around exhibits and have a good rotation of different cars coming and going, albeit some cars will always be there, like the split window 63, or the last 83. The plant tour is definitely worth going on as well. Last year I got to see them building 20 preproduction E-Rays. There is also the National Corvette Motorsports Park right there that I can't recommend enough! They take some amazing photos while you are out there. My wife and I are members so we always stop by and eat at the Stingray grill when we are passing through to see family.
