Shift Cable Bushings
Had a C5 and had no problems with the shift cable.
Had a C6 and had no problem with the shift cable.
Have a C7 now. Did Chevrolet ever fix the problem? Or do I have to continue to worry about this?

Anything can wear out regardless of the Corvette generation, but I do not recall seeing any posts about the C7 shift cable giving problems.
