I'm very interesting in buying a nice '15 Z51 2LT Crystal Red coupe with black racing stripes. I like the red but can't decide if I will like the black racing stripes. I've seen pictures but I go back and forth on whether a 70 year old (me) would look stupid in a Corvette with racing stripes. I would appreciate your opinion.
I wouldn't have any qualms about buying a c7 with stripes. I think the engine/trans other options your wanting are more important since it's not like c7s are getting more available..
I had a 2013 C6 anniversary edition with strips. I liked it at first but after a while I changed my mind about them, then sold the car. I probably won't ever have strips again, but I am not opposed to getting some other vinyl markings to add a little flavor. I am almost 70 too. My perfect car concept has evolved a lot. I used to hate those big wheels with basically no tires, and I would never have any wheel that was not chrome. Now I have 20" and 19" black painted wheels with a red ring, and black lug nuts to boot, and I like them. I don't know maybe I am just getting senile.
