My 2014 Laguna Blue I recently purchased has several paint chips on the front bumper. If I decide to get the front bumper repainted, is that an expensive body shop repair?

The price can vary depending on the local labor rate as well as if the shop wants to blend the paint into surrounding panels. I would think anywhere from $750-1000 would cover it. Could be off a bit though since I am not a body shop tech.
It will cost you upwards of $1,800.00. I had the front bumper cover on my 19 GS repainted last fall. The out the door price was $2,100.00. They did remove the bumper cover to prep and paint it.
Depending on the extent of the chips a good detail shop can fill them and apply PPF. Ive seen this done and the PPF makes small chips virtually impossible to find. Plus you get PPF to mitigate future chips.
The bumper is easy to remove, kind of. I had mine painted by a custom shop. It was only around $400. I removed it and removed the emblem and grill. They did a good job. Do a lot of reading and watch a lot of video's.
I would check with my local Vette Club or Auto Mall. They had a guy at the Thousand Oaks Auto Mall that had a team of paint magicians.
When, I got my 1995 Torch Red Convertible it had 16 chips on it. His team used their own mixed paint and hid them all. Back then, it cost me under $100. Good luck!
