Bought my 2014 from them back in 2021. They flip Corvettes from auctions so when I picked mine up they were working on 3 others in the warehouse. Since I was looking for a lime rock green coupe I was pretty limited on availability and they happened to have 2 at the time. Their "expert" had mine listed as a premiere edition (even though they were all convertible...) since it had all the options (aside from being a convertible...) but I wasn't in a position to argue. They don't haggle over price and they'll try to get you to finance through them (higher rates).
Check out Corvette World Dallas.
I had a good experience working with salesman Robert.
They also have a store in Houston and they have an affiliation with a nearby dealership, which I forgot the name.
Thanks for the responses, the more info I get it seem the more I think I need.
Have been looking at a C7 on Corvette Warehouse website....checks my boxes. Is it unusual for a C7 with 19k miles to be sold at an auction?
Also, and this is biggie to me, why are all the Carfax reports free of issues except damage?? Do dealer not report these ignorer to improve the perceived quality of their product?? Always have been wary of dealerships.
Will be buying in 2-3 months, have boxes to be checked, probably won't have a lot to pick from?? Probably be my last car....82 years old.
Carfax shows whatever information is sent to them. Usually services, inspections, liens, registrations etc. Damages can be anywhere from accident damage to a broken windshield. If an insurance company is involved, it will usually get listed including windshield damage that is a repaired chip! I look at what the damage was to decide if it bothers me or not.
Ideally I would want a car that was one owner, no damage history, super low miles etc., but that can be quite challenging and you will definitely pay for it. I am in the process of buying another C7 GS and it had damage showing on the Carfax. It was an individual and he had pictures of the damage which was a cracked taillight bezel, scuffed wicker and a cracked bumper cover where a truck backed into it softly. The bumper cover and bezel was replaced and the wicker buffed so I was good with that. I'm getting the car optioned the way I want (Z07, Comp seats & carbon fiber interior plus only 10,100 miles) at a good price and can live with those two items being replaced.
The market is softening quite a bit and if you search all the main sites, good deals are out there. I use Carfax, Car Gurus and Autotrader besides this forum....
