Hash marks are for a grand sport. Anything else is just , well you know. But that’s me. I’d remove them. I don’t even run the silly stingray. First thing that came off my car.

If you like the single stripe that is the main thing, but IMO, I would either remove it or add a second stripe. Can't say I have ever seen a car with just a single hashmark stripe on the fender.

Hash marks are a way of many to personalize you're own vehicle. Leave them on for a while to see how you like them.
Congratulations on you're beautiful C7.
Congratulations on your purchase. Blade Silver is a great color. As for the hash, it does compliment the brake caliper and is a nice contrast to the paint. If you like it, keep it.
I don't have any particular bias for stripes one way or another. But in this case, I think the stripe(s) just ruin the clean sports car look of your Stingray. They just don't fit the current look of your Vette. If you intend to throw on all the cookie cutter stage 1,2,3 crap that a lot of guys wind up doing, then leave them on.
Congratulations on your new Vette. Hash, or no hash, is up to you. Do you really care what others think about your Vette?
Nothing wrong with asking what folks think. I've been told, by my lovely wife, more than once, that my taste is mostly in my mouth. So, in case she's right, I don't make a lot of recommendations for other car owners. On the other hand, I do have, what was, a secret desire for other Vette owners to like the way my car looks.
I would certainly take them off as its virtually up badging, also when you look at the car all attention is brought to bright unsightly stickers on the fenders. That being said, if you like it, who cares. If you want the car to look better to 98% of the population, definitely peel them off.
