With the 4 quarts trans fluid capacity , anyone know if adding an additive of an addional 24oz would actually over fill the trans? Wanting to try the Lucas no slip to see if I can get crisper shifting. Its been triple flushed and software updated (its a 2016)

there is way more then 4 quarts total trans fluid
also yes, if you add 24 oz fluid your trans would be WAY over full. There is a simple procedure to making sure you have the proper fluid level.

What you could do is buy a red fluid transfer pump from harbor freight. Pop off the rubber fill plug on top of the trans and suck out apprx 24 oz. Then use the same pump to pump in 24 oz of your Lucas product. Should be pretty simple task. The pump is $8 and works amazing! Comes with the proper hoses too.

Adding Lucas to an to any newer automatic will not give you crisper shifts , and overfilling the trans by that much is not recommended at all
Shift speed and engagement is now governed by the TCM programing , that's why it shifts smooth when driving normal and snaps your neck when you are into the gas .
What to change how it shifts , have the TCM "tuned" . But dont expect the snap that one would get when u installed a new valve body in the old Turbo 400's and 350's
The A8 and other newer transmissions cut fuel and spark during a shift for just a micro second , this is how these transmission "live behind 600 to heavily modified 900 hp motors but the result is a smoother feeling shift which is a byproduct of this type of shift control
If it's not broken , I don't recommend trying to fix it ....
Having done the triple flush myself, there is definitely a filler tube on the pass side towards the rear of the tranny, above the pan of course. There are a couple threads here with pictures.
Adding 24 ounces will overfill it. But no snake oils needed, except as noted below.
Best way is to use a pump to measure what you drain out out of the filler hole so you can then refill with the exact amount. Otherwise, it is rather a PITA to check the fluid level. You have to get the car perfectly level, after getting the transmission to operating temperature, and remove another plug to test the fill level. And you will burn off your hands getting up there with the tranny hot.
Only reason to add snake oil is if you have done the triple flush already and still have the shudder. Usually, that means your torque converter is gone. Some on this forum used Lubegard and had success reviving the torque converter and getting rid of the shutter. Otherwise, there is no reason to add any snake oil.
