Hi. I need to replace all front and rear suspension bushings and was advised to replace with delrin ones. What are you guys replacing with? How do they feel? Which brand did you choose and why? Thanks to all!
It will come down to how stiff you want the suspension to be. Delrin is almost solid compared to urethane and rubber. If you are looking for a little compromise, then Urethane would be your middle ground with rubber the softest. I don't have a brand recommendation though. I've been on and off this topic for a while and yet to find a "best" brand. Hopefully you'll have better luck.
Delrin is very stiff. The problem can be that when you have the eccentrics at varying settings in front and rear of the control arm the delrin can bind some as the arm moves.
