Paint on swaintec
i am purchasing stainless works long tubes with gesi high flow cats and I am concerned about heat in engine bay and front of tunnel, I also read a lot about the exterior coating flaking or cracking after a while, as well as statements by swaintec of them turning “ugly”, his word not mine.
i also see they have no issues with paining them with a high temp paint to help the looks,
anyone have any experience with painting over swaintec white lighting , if so I appreciate the input
I am aware some folks will recommend jet hot or cerakote or other ceramic but when I tell jet hot I have a supercharged car they say they only have one coating and it is black and not fit for inside the pipes and just the outside will have limited heat reduction,
3 other vendors only offer black and the local shop doing cerakote glacier has black or silver, silver would be ok but they say limited heat reduction as well
sounds like swaintech with high temp 2k+ paint would be best choice
thx in advance for help
