Default Help Finding this Part!

Hi Guys
are 2 days that I'm looking everywhere for this part: 84653459, it is the rear differential carrier for my 2014 C7 Z51 M7.
im looking to buy it new, but everywhere is either Discontinued or in Backorder with waiting time up to 1 month+.
I looked basically on every GM parts website available...
If someone can help me out or has a suggestion it would be great.
Thanks

You might need to get on a waiting list. It took three weeks for GM to get a non-z51 diff for me (I think the ratios are different?).

What about aftermarket? Does wavetrac make a z51 carrier?

You're going to need to call some dealers and see what they can find as mentioned above.

If you don't want to call the dealers then you'll need to look for used. eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or some of the Salvage yards are good places to look.

Being overseas does not make it easy to source parts. Best of luck to you - hopefully you will run across at least one vendor that can help you out.

I would still call a Chevy dealer in the US and ask them to search for you.

Here's a big corvette dealer in NJ.

https://www.cioccacorvette.com/

and one in NH

You can call, or often times you can place the order. The dealer will reach out to you via email to say it's not currently available. Once that happens you have an avenue for communication with them. They may be able to tell you how long the wait will be and/or you can ask them if they've also searched GM system for it. Most of the time they have....but not always.

GM also has a corporate team for locating out of stock parts. I worked with them when I needed a specific body panel and studs to mount it.

A few years back I need a part for my 04 Corvette shop contacts and dealers all said part was out of stock nationwide. So I googled part number after about 15 pages of google I found this Company called SMC Proformace in Auburn Hills, Michigan they had 10 of NOS GM part. They just deal in Corvette and Caddy XLR parts. I don’t have their number or email just saved the company name so google them and give them a try. I had the part the following morning on my porch and Corvette shop couldn’t believe I found part when his contacts couldn’t . He ask for company name when I dropped off part at shop .

Great shop! I bought my new block from them that I'm using for my 416 build.
