I just had all 4 of mine changed and had 26K on them, the fronts were due and one rear picked up a nail. Just for reference 95% of the miles were in Florida where the roads are generally in good shape.
I took off my Michelin A/S tires at 40K and they still have 6-8 mm tread left. Put Forgeline wheels and new Michelin A/S tires on at 41K miles. Key to tire wear is proper alignment, front and back (don't use the standard GM front alignment specs as they will wear the inside quickly (GM uses a track align spec on GS). Rotate the tires side-to-side approx every 7-10K miles and ensure tire pressure is maintained at 30 to 32 psi cold all the time. This should give you the best mileage possible. Good luck.
The A/S Michelins last almost twice a long as the summer PSS, and the cost is less. Those who run the A/S all year cut their tire cost-per-mile nearly in half, if you care.

What alignment specs do you use? I'm ready to get mine checked.
Thank you

I can confirm that the summers wear very fast, the fronts on mine were worn at 12k miles (even wear)?
