I previously owned a C4 convertible which I sold a couple of years ago after many years of ownership. It lived in my heated garage and only ventured out on sunny days. I liked to fuss over it.
Several years ago I visited the factory in Bowling Green and got to watch the C7 being built on the assembly line. I haven’t been able to get that car out of my head since.
So….. now I’m starting my search for a 2016 (or newer) stingray coupe with a manual transmission, and Z51 package. It needs to be a 2LT or 3LT.
I want a car that is in very nice condition, no accidents and fewer than 60,000 kms (40,000 miles).
What would be a fair price for a 2016 model? I want a 2016 because I like the flat bottom steering wheel and I want Apple CarPlay. Thanks.
I have been looking at prices online. These are of course asking prices. Just trying to get a sense of what would be a fair price range for the spec of car that I’m after.
Welcome to the forum, you have come to the right place to ask all questions Corvette related. A nationwide search on Autotrader reveals 1,477 C7's 2016 or newer... use those cars as a basis for pricing
Try searching here: https://www.autotempest.com/. Good luck with the search. And if you are just starting your search, it's okay to throw the first one back. Big sea, LOTS of fish.
You might want to avoid the 3LT due to the leather dash delamination problems. Search here for pictures of dash replacements. You won't believe what all has to come out to do the job.
The 2LT checked all of my boxes-Thought I needed a GS or Z06 -but I'm extremely satisfied-bought my 2016 Z51 in June-8100 miles M7-convertible-$41K won't touch one like it-but , they're priced all over the board-I'm sure you'll find one to suit you !!!!! M7 with active rev matching is neat-
