Default 22” wheels

Has anyone put 22x12 on the rear of 2016 Stingray or know if it would fit?

Can't say I have tried that size on my car. Just off the top of my head I would say on a base car wheels that wide would be a problem.

Link to old thread with 21 x 12 rims.

Call your vendor to get the exact answer for fitment of 22 x 12 and if it will work for your car.

The last thing I'd want on the street would be less tire side-wall height no matter if the width was an issue or not.

I can't imagine they will fit because of the diameter. There just isn't a lot of extra room especially if your car is lowered some.

I was at a car show this weekend where a car had 21" on the front and 22" in the rear. Although, his car was a Grand Sport (widebody).

Looked really nice, but too narrow of a tire for my liking.

On a base car in the rear you'd need 285/20/22 or similar, for the wide bodies you'd need 335/20/22 or similar to maintain a similar diameter with no change to width. Regardless sidewalls that thin, ouch, don't think that's possible even. If you like the look it probably looks great, but IMHO undrivable.

I think the lowest aspect ratio I've seen is 25. This says lower exist, but are rare and more like oddities.
