I have one installed and cannot believe the difference! There is one thing I am concerned about though. I have the Auto tranny. I am wondering how the tranny will hold up getting hit with a more responsive throttle?

Love mine. First upgrade I did when I bought my 2016 Z51 a year ago.
Put both throttle body and controller on. Big seat of the pants difference driving my M7.
Was a good car to begin with but a great one now.
I know their are other options but put a MGW short throw shifter in recently as well. (Plug) LOL

I've had a throttle controller (Vitesse) in my C7 A8 Grand Sport since 2018 with no ill effects. Had one on my prior C6 also. Great bang for the buck mod.

I don't see how it would. The transmission is designed for a performance car, and this only changes what the computer sees based on the throttle position. The car is designed to handle it naturally. I drive in Ludicrous 1, and the only thing I notice is that you will hit performance-shifting mode pretty early. I love the snappy response and could never go back to stock.
This upgrade is the best thing you can do for the C7 if you want an easy way to improve your throttle response. It makes the car drive the way it should have been from the factory. I am surprised GM doesn't make this part of the things you can change with the infotainment system.
I just ordered the Soler Throttle Controller for my 2016 Stingray. One of the guys in our Corvette club just installed one on his C7. It made a huge improvement in throttle response. When we took it for a drive, he was amazed at how much better the car responded when he hit the gas.
After installing the product and setting my desired mode, can I remove the controller? Will my selected mode be retained without having the controller connected?

Thank you for reaching out. The Bluetooth connection is made where the pedal assembly harness is, not in the display. The display can be plugged in [for pairing to phone and] during first-time use just to make sure everything is hooked up properly and has power but it is not needed. You can keep the display in your glovebox or even at home and have all the wires hidden to wherever you prefer. [Going forward use your phone to change settings]

Installed mine 2 years ago. Started around Sport 5, ended up at Lud 3. Couple weeks ago noticed car felt sluggish, checked the setting, was on Eco 3, so set back at Lud 3. HUGE difference. ( probably accidentally set my phone on the controller in the arm rest, lol).
