From an Internet search:
The date code for an ACDelco battery is located on the top of the battery or on the lip edge of the top cover. The code is made up of a letter and three numbers, with the first two digits representing the month and the third digit representing the year. For example, a date code of P097N indicates that the battery was made in September 2017.
If you don't have the original purchase receipt, you can use the date code on the battery to determine the warranty start date. To make a warranty claim, you can return the battery and the dated bill of sale receipt to an ACDelco retailer, such as a repair facility, authorized distributor, or GM Dealer.
Thanks for the battery date code reply. I have another question pertaining to changing the oil and filter, the C7 Z06 that I recently purchased is a 2015 with approximately 2,500 miles the oil indicator reads 69% but according to the Car Fax the oil was changed around 1,900 miles and approximately 4 years ago, should the oil be changed even though it looks good on the stick
Oil needs to be changed once a year regardless of mileage. Might want to check if coolant, brake, and transmission fluids were ever changed. They are all past due if not.
