My 2014 has developed a slight rattle that sounds like it is coming from underneath the passenger side of the car. It seems to occur only when accelerating normally in traffic. It only lasts a few seconds but is becoming more frequent. I have listened to several torque tube rattle videos, and it does not sound the same to me. Unfortunately, I am in Florida for the winter and don't have access to my Quickjack or tools to get under it and look around. My questions are: Is it possible the torque tube is going bad? If I could find a way to lift it, is there anywhere I should begin looking? The car seems to run fine and the only other issue is a bad headlight! It has 47,000 miles on it. Any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance, I have received a lot of great information on this site.

I'll make something up and say that it sounds more like something loose in the exhaust or perhaps an exhaust/heat shield.
If it's a manual transmission, the shifter could be rattling.
Another thing to check is the tunnel plate (under the car) that covers the torque tube & the exhaust x-pipe. I believe that there are 24 bolts that hold it on. Check to make sure that they're all tight, and that none of them have worked their way loose. I had that issue on my C6.
There are also things inside the door that can rattle. Several C7 owners have reported that problem.
Sounds like a good idea. I've been meaning to check the belt tensioner after reading about some issues with it on here. I've looked at a few videos but if I need to take the shroud off, that may be a problem for me where I'm at now.
