My 2014 C7 has been sitting in my garage covered in a tender for 3 weeks for winter storage. Today I went out to the garage and coolant was running from underneath the car.
I have not started or driven the car in 3 weeks. I have not taken the cover off yet. Any ideas?
Maybe a clue, it was just serviced. Could it have been over filled. Check the level, run it up to operating temp and let it sit again.
If the level is correct, that would indicate it was overfilled.
Try to see where it's dripping down from. My c7 had 2 coolant leaks both from the hoses o-rings getting compression set (plausible for this type of leak to happen in the cold too with car not running).
These will most likely occur on the passenger side, if it's under the firewall then it's likely from the reservoir connections, and if it's further up by the wheel then it's likely the two connections to the water pump.
PS - if the coolant reservoir cap has some friction to it when loosening just replace it, it can break and get stuck otherwise.
GM has a dye that can be added to coolant or oil systems, to help find elusive leaks. Glows under black light.
But if you can see it on the floor, should be an easy find.

Might be a good time to do a coolant flush. Still, why not explore pressure on the system which might reveal the leak without buying both dye and blacklight?
Is the cooling system able to pressurize? You can tell by trying to squeeze a hose once it is warmed up. Should be very firm. Is the leak behind the right front wheel? If it will not pressurize and the leak happens behind the right wheel, then I would be very suspecting of the coolant reservoir. I recently replaced my coolant reservoir because it had failed at the seam between the top and bottom halves of the tank. It was not a big crack that could be seen visually.
