When I installed my Soler controller. I put the black box under the carpet to the right of the pedal, then I took the cable that plugs in to the controller and the Bluetooth module and ran it under the carpet on the side of the tunnel, pulled the trim panel on the side of the tunnel and ran the cable back to the cubby in the console, I snaked the wire up thru the hole where the latch is and put the Bluetooth module in the center console cubby. Just watch where the cable goes so it does not foul the latch. Works perfectly.

This is how I installed my original Soler TC.

The newer Bluetooth model does not require the "control head" except for BT pairing. Once paired with your cell phone, you can disconnect and store it. Only the "black box" needs to remain connected and it can remain stored under the carpet adjacent to the accelerator pedal.

Agree and understood, once I am totally comfortable with the system I will remove the BT module and stow the cable below the latch hole so it can be retrieved easily if needed.

Here is where I installed mine on my C7:

On the side of the center console carpeting - the wires tuck under the carpet then come out right at where the display is mounted. No problems with the Bluetooth working and it provides easy viewing.

I have stored mine in the glove box ,unplugged from day one . Once I had the Bluetooth connected to my phone I never figured I would ever use it ! Getting used to it is easier on my phone and right in front of me ! YMMV

Yes I had to take the top part off where the shifter is. Then I ran the wire from the pedal up under the carpet through where the shifter is to the console. I notched the bottom out inside the console instead of drilling a hole just so I could run the wire underneath without it being pinched. Was easier than drilling a hole then plugged it in. If I remember correctly I had to pop out the usb also to free it up. There’s plenty of videos on how to take the console apart regarding changing your shifter to the MGW. Only the top piece had to come apart. Once I figured out the sweet spot for me is SP7 I never changed it once in a few years
