Anyone have any experience with silvers coilovers?
Debating between 10k and 12k spring rates. I dont track it, but i do a lot of spirited driving thru turns and always prefer stiffer suspension in general. Just wondering if the 10ks ride close to the stock rate. If so, ill most likely go with the 12ks
I'm not familiar with this system, but if like most coil systems, once all the paraphernalia is installed, it's a relatively easy thing to change just the springs if the rates don't suit you.
12K is definitely firmer. I had the base set up on my C5Z.
While I had decent luck with them I definitely wouldn't buy them again. The budget coil overs with a single damper ride like they have no damping control.
it was stiffer, But rebound was never what you wanted or consistent. Better shocks and the stock Leaf rides better and if you are looking for flatter cornering Sway bars are the way to go.

The basic single damper was definitely a concern, so i was planning on going with the 2 way adjustable shocks(dual damper). Another reason I really want to go the coilover route is because id like the car a little lower than the lowering bolts will allow
They have a Dual Damper version now? I don't have any experience with them.
Have you checked out QA1 They are an American company with a base in MN and a lot of their parts and development happen in house. Their facility is pretty awesome. i've toured it a few times.
LG would be another source for information and parts.
Second this. If you go with the G2 from LG, they’ll even valve them to your application. Decided to go with the street valved G2’s on my setup and couldn’t be happier.

Look for some cheap used C7 springs online. Buy those and take the ride height adjusters from them. Trim the rubber pads on the adjusters and then you can lower the car another 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch. The adjusters are common across all models....C5/6/7....from 1997 to 2019. You could also buy those sold by Corvette Central which are reproduction rubber adjusters for $45/pair.
You get what you pay for with coil-overs. Also remember that if you have Mag Ride, you'll need simulators or you'll get a warning light.
Frankly I'd spend $100 for the Corvette Central pads, cut them, and see if that gets you where you want to be first before going coil-overs.
"Spirited Driving" uses about 50% of the capability of the car.
