Sure absolutely, I get that 100%.
For me, its much faster and much more readable, and easier, to simply grab the book. Ive got mine downloaded on my phone too. But im not into organizing files on my phone or even renaming them so its easier to find. Right now I'd have to root around to find the file named some string of random numbers and letters, lol. Scrolling up and down or worse side to side to read a document, drives me nuts. If I didn't have the book I'd be printing the pages. I can mark up and make notes on printed pages, not so easy on my phone. A pleasure read to me is on paper vs a 4" wide Scrolling screen that goes black and needs a code or face to come back.

On my android phone, I go to the download folder and search. In the pdf document, I can search the manual for certain words. Also, as to the screen saver, I think you can use a smart stay to keep it open while scrolling.

You both forgot to mention that you can do a word search on the PDF but you can't do that on the physical manual. It also doesn't eat up glove compartment space, get smudged if your hands are dirty, etc. Best of all, I can be sitting on the throne and read something and not have to run back and forth to the car.

My glove box stays empty except my owners manual and any receipts for work. My parents had stuffed glove boxes. Anyway i just use the contents or at the back there is a word or topic search pages.

My wife keeps all kinds of crap in the glove box and map pockets. The map pockets **** me off so much with the things rattling that if I ever bought a new car, I would gladly pay for the "MAP POCKET DELETE" option. I don't care so much about her Audi but on the F250 and the C7, I keep them empty. I have only used them to store my gun when I cannot carry into a building. That and when I get a new registration piece of paper.

I would be interested in finding out where you got the styrofoam cover. I checked several places online and none had the cover.

I ordered mine from TASCA but it was back in 2022. This is what the part was specified as on the invoice: "23167549 Passenger Side Rear Floor Panel Carpet Support". Maybe that would help with your search. I see one on Ebay but the shipping is pricey.

I picked up my 2017 used and it didnt come with the owners manuals. I was sure glad to find some used on ebay as I like having that stuff!

Although I dont keep them in the car, and read the online version instead most of the time.

I bought one off ebay. I had an alert set up to notify me by email when one became available. Use # 23167549 that Flattman posted above.

Mine is either still gathering dust or in some landfill. I'm just not wanting paper when I can go digital.
