Thanks to those who advised me on my model research thread. Was looking at GS or Z51; open to both needed to know what to look for. I made an offer on a GS, and when the sales guy came back said someone else bought it the day before but the sales team wasn't notified. There were a few more interesting Z51's out there and after finding out the build sheet options on them there was one left. Bottom line was able to make the deal last Saturday over the phone, contingent on me seeing the car. I looked at it Monday and drove it away that afternoon (after they swapped on some all seasons - drove OH to MN). Got home today - 938 miles to get home. Was fun driving it a lot right away although freeway driving isn't the most fun part of a Corvette. But it does it well. Was quite the road trip. My wife and I drove down to see it and turned around and caravaned back. It does need a was and normally will not see snow! But the right one popped up now so moved on it.
It is a '15 Stingray Z51 with Mag Ride, NPP Exhaust, stand alone nav, PDR. Beautiful Crystal Red. Look forward to more conversations and learning here on the forum in the C7 section.
I had a '08 C6 Z06 so not my first Corvette, had to sell that a few years ago. Will have to update my profile pic!!
Great car! And congrats on having the dealer put all-seasons on it; that's a huge plus! Previous owner already swapped in a Z06 grille.
Mileage? A8 or M7? 1, 2 or 3LT? I know - too many questions.
Merry Christmas!
Agree with Catfish here. Congratulations on your research and finding the Corvette that works for you.
The little Z51 is beautiful. Welcome back to the Corvette fold!!
BTW, I really like the Z06 grill. It improves the personality a lot. Great addition...
Perhaps I should do this on my '14...

Beautiful car, congratulations! Plenty of time to get her all cleaned up and that's the best way to get completely aquatinted with her inside and out. The day I picked up my C7 it poured all day starting the minute I got in it. Thoroughly filthy but it was a labor of love to go over every inch of the car.
Glad you had the all seasons. I bought mine in North Carolina and drove it home to rural Western Colorado, rain but no snow. I've got a Laguna blue M7 Z51 so a close cousin. Love it but for Christmas I bought it a Magnuson blower. Won't get to use it for a bit here in MN.

Thanks everyone for the compliments!
Catfish, I see you figured out the answers, sorry, missed those details. Not too many questions, ask away. Yea, M7 and 2LT. I am the 4th owner. the 3rd owner was apparently a good customer of the dealership and they bought it from him. Carfax had good records, regular oil changes, inspections, and trans/diff fluids have been changed twice. One minor accident finding regarding the roof. Either it was replaced or a scratch was repaired well I don't see anything. Normally 3 owners getting kinda high but with the records I thought I'd go for it. Glad I did. Just minor driver seat wear so car was taken care of.
I do like the Z06 grill, a nice touch. Also the front splitter and side skirts are nice additions. I just have to practice putting my feet further out when getting out so I don't scratch up the skirts One GS I considered on line had some aftermarket strakes on the rear diffuser. Sales guy tried to say they looked tastefully done. I wasn't a fan. Anyway, nice mods here. One of the owners also swapped under hood caps with red caps, they look nice.

Absolutely. Although the detailed clean up will have to wait until spring. I do love the first washes / detailing with a new to me car and learning about it. Looking at December in northern MN (just 120 miles south of the Canadian border) I'll have to settle for just getting clean and dry for the winter this year. I am one who drives my cars so they do get dirty and I'm OK with that . But then I'll clean them up too.
very nice with a somewhat different presentations of weather driving mode with track instrumentation!!
congratulations on a beautiful addition, the zo6 grill is a nice touch!!
Yea, I did drive it home in winter/weather mode. On the drive home, very heavy traffic until we got north of Madison WI. So didn't mess with things much, just wanted to get home safely. December in a sports car. Once I got closer to home messed around with some of the display settings. Driving slowly on wet but 24F roads but felt racy with the track display
