Default M7 backup camera timeout/ clutch in while reverse question

Recently swapped my 2015 A8 for a 2016 M7.
the 2015 rear camera was sooo much better.

I know the 2016 is a fish eye and 15 is flat lense. Can I swap my 15 with 16 rear camera for better quality?

Also when reversing in manual car the rear camera disappears right after I get out of reverse with no delay even though I'm still trying to coast out of driveway in reverse. Is there a way to extend the delay so even when I'm in neutral for a few seconds after reversing the backup camera will stay on??

Is it bad to keep my clutch engaged fully to keep the camera on when reversing and still rolling back???

only works in reverse!!

depends how tight the backup area is, then a choice you have to make, in reverse or neutral!!

Just leave it in reverse, it won't hurt the clutch.
