Default Interior Width

Is a C7 widebody (Grand Sport and the Z cars) wider in the interior? If so, where? Is the dash wider, doors thicker, or what? Thanks

No. They are all the same.

I do believe the interior is the same, but perhaps someone that has the factory measurements can post them.

As Drives with Two Feet said, there is no difference in interior volume among the c7 models.

If space is critical, the c6 platform feels roomier inside.

I was in a c7 just to see how I fit. I don't and I am only 6. Not being able to stretch on a long trip is painful.

Other than that, that car was perfect.

How did you get your license already at 6 years old? lol. In all seriousness, I am also 6 foot tall on the dot and I don't have any complaints. My seat is at a lower adjustment and adjusted correctly for the clutch and steering position. I drive 2 hours continuously very often without any really uncomfortability besides just my old body falling apart on me from my younger days. I have learned that I need to sit closer to the clutch compared to what I did in my 20s to mitigate my knee degeneration.

I'm 6'-1" and I have no issues with the comfort in my C7. I have the seat all the way down & all the way back. I also have the seat bottom tilted back a bit to support my legs.

First world problem. Don't forget as we age we shrink. I noticed my pants needed shortening.

There are a couple tricks to adjusting the seat to get little more room.

We have a friend who is about 6'3" tall and fits in his C7 just fine.
The link in the post just above this one has some good info on C7 seat adjustment, not as simple as it looks.

I did feel my c6 was more roomy feeling, but at 6ft I don't have an issue with the space in my c7. Definitely feels tighter and getting in and out is getting harder, but I drove it home 5 hours after I picked it up and it was as comfy as any other car we own. Im pretty average build even on the thinner side maybe, and I do find the bottom side seat bolster on the left is a bit aggressive. Might just be how I sit. Only at 7k miles so maybe it will break in a bit.
