OP - Congratulations on your new GS. I am also 6'4" and have found that each model (C5, C6, C7, and C8) have gotten tighter to me. After learning how to lower the seat, as you have, to gain the most head room, and pulling the electrical connection behind the driver's seat that limits travel, I have a very comfortable seating position. The seat back is angled a little so I do not hit my head on the body cross bar. I also use my clear top all the time instead of the painted top to give the interior a more 'open' feel. Good luck on finding your perfect position.
Glad you found your dream Corvette. I am 6 foot 3 and I found that I can get in easier if I back in to the seat butt first and then swing my legs in. You found the exact Corvette that I am looking for: 2018 or 2019 blue Grand Sport. Of course, I will be trading my 2018 Stingray. So that makes it a bit more complicated, especially if I find an out of state GS. I am shopping for a manual.
