Wanted to add car play to my 2015 Z06 and not sure what to go with either getting the factory stuff or using Nav tool but i dont like that joy stick thing! does nav tool offer anything else to control it? thanks
I did not upgrade the cluster for full integration. I did not care to have AA displayed on the cluster or the HUD..
You will need to buy a high speed USB for the center console. A must have to operate the ACP/AA but not included. I bought mine on Ebay and it wasn't much. Stick with OEM USB. the USBs in the 14s and 15s do not connect the phones to car for ACP/ AA.
It took me about an hour or less to install, but I have done this on a previous 15 I owned.
If your car has factory nav now, you will have to buy the kit with factory nav. If your car does not, I'd pass on the factory Nav since ACP / AA both have better Nav features.
I went with the Infotainment.com kit for my 2015 Stingray and it is working great. I had an issue at first when using Apple CarPlay for navigation, it kept losing my real location and thus it kept re-routing me. Turns out I had a bad HMI module and they ended up sending me a replacement and it fixed the problem. Infotainment's support was very good and it was no hassle working with them to get the problem correct.

I went with White Automotive to add AA to my 2016 along with a map update and feature unlock. They were great to work with and I've had a great experience with their product.
Has anyone upgraded the cluster with the white automotive kit? Will it update the track gauges to the new style that the newer C7s have with the tire pressure/temp and engine temps?
@Jeff T. Thinking of that for our 2015. Link to video, pls?
I looked in my saved videos and didn't have it. The biggest surprise was removing the two kickpanels was different. The passenger side could break a tab... Sorry I don't remember more. I watched about 20 videos before I did mine. Good Luck!!

That’s the video I watched as well, just completed the WAMS on my 2014. The passenger side module was a little more tricky, the video does a great job of explaining it. Bought the USB for the center console on Amazon, correct part number and genuine GM. I also use a Bluetooth CarPlay module for wireless Apple car play. Everything fired right up and works flawlessly! My steering wheel controls work as well.
