A vacuum pump to supplement manifold vacuum when needed.

Bud, I see yours is painted black. I've been wanting to do that. Did you paint yours? Did you take it off to do so? And lastly, is it a bad idea to take it off? I'll admit, I have researched it at all. Just every time I see it, .....

i left it on and brush painted it with high heat paint like for bbq’s. I also did the alternator.
