Someone else will have to chime in if the Carbon Fiber roofs ever came from the factory without a headliner. If they didn't then either it's an OEM roof with the headliner removed or it's an aftermarket one that didn't come with one.

Is that a member of the Flying Roof Club?
The white line makes it looks like the "skin" is cracked, and the white line extends through the frame at the front edge, making it look like the magnesium (?) frame is cracked at the front also?
this is a oem exposed c/f top that was skipped off the highway. smooth alcantara underneath. you can see the fine line where the c/f was matched this they paint the sides to hide it. if you remove the alcantara its just rough carbon fiber as it came out of the mold

Yes, this guy forgot to latch it down and it went flying.
He bought an Exposed CF rood from me, and was trying to tell me his roof is what came with his car and what I sold him was a fake.
This is what I sold him.
Whose screenshot is in your first picture? Because in the first thumbnail it looks like someone is pulling off the liner from the top. What is the guys issue and what is he wanting you to do about it? He's the idiot who didn't latch his roof. Whether it was a OEM or aftermarket top the end results would be the same. His insurance should cover it.

if this is the roof you sold him its a oem factory exposed c/f roof with smooth alcantara liner.
