Default Engine Info

The current Latest News article on the CF homepage ranking the LS and LT engines reminded me of some info I collated a few years ago when I apparently had nothing better to do. FYI -

Nice collection of engine specs, Larry. ChatGPT seems to have determined that all C7 LT1 engines have 460 hp. That is OK with me. My Z51 has 460.

Yeah, I was surprised to see that ChatGPT sort of organically gave a summary heading to each pdf. I wish it would have corrected my 'dessignation' typo...

edit - Now that I think about it, I purposely listed all C7 LT1s with 460, not 455. My logic was if cars with NPP exhaust have 460, then the engine has 460 to begin with, before it was 'throttled down' to 455 by more restrictive exhaust.

I have watched my horsepower gauge and I seldom see it go over 230. When it did, that was during a fast acceleration. Probably it would go much higher if the RPM soared past 5,000 but I have never pushed it that hard.
