Looking for opinions! I am retiring soon and my employer is giving me $500.00 to purchase a going away gift for myself. I am considering Lloyds Floor mats. Anyone have any experience with these? Worth the money? I have a white car/red interior, black stock mats. Would red floor mats be to much red?? I would also get a deck area mat. . I would have the Chevy logo put stitched into the mats, they will match the logo i got stitched into my luggage. Anyway, let the cussing, criticism, and recommendations begin.
Thank you all for any input you share.

Congrats on the retirement. Lloyd's are great mats however I find them good for show. At their price using them for actual use is almost sacrilege. They definitively spruce up the interior.
It's really up to you. IMO the red would be too much. Red's a great accent color but too much is overpowering, but it's up to you to decide what looks good to you. My C5 came with Lloyds and they were great car mats; however, I opted for Weathertechs for my C7.
Lloyds mats are great! Best on the market IMO. I have the same color combo as you. I opted for the red cargo compartment mat, but the black driver/passenger mats with the Corvette logo and a red border. Also added a black Terry cloth armrest cover with some padding underneath to prevent wrinkles in the leather OEM
cover and some matching shoulder strap pads.
Lloyd's are excellent, we've used them as the trunk mat since 2001 and on some cars up front.
We drive our Corvette a lot and it doesn't get babied, so I use the Cocamats. The open weave allows dust, sand, etc to sink down into the weave and disappear; but the rubber backing keeps it from going all the way through. Look good even when dirty. Just shake them out occasionally. They do wear out quicker, about 50k miles is when I replace them.
I have the Lloyds mats and as others have said they are great. The Lux mats are very high quality, almost too nice to put you shoes on!! You might consider the black mats with the red stitching for just a touch of highlight. Enjoy!!
Thank you to ALL who gave input and opinions! All of your information was very helpful as well as the pictures of what you have and how it looks in the car! I ordered the Ebony with red stitching and the corvette flags. Your suggestions and input is very appreciated. Thanks again.
