Motive 0118 Black Label Late Model GM/Tesla Some Mazda and Ford Power Bleeder works well for me, but I only use it to pressurize the system. I put fluid directly in the reservoir.

The one above or THIS one. Either way. One is a plastic cap, the other is metal. I do all my cars on the same day.

Fill container with enough fluid to do all your cars.
Suck out all the fluid in the reservoir
Fill up, suck it out again and fill up
Pressurize the system and release at the bottle cap to get the bubbles out
Pressurize the system and bleed away.
When you are done, release at the bottle cap to de-pressurize the system
Put a couple of paper towels at the reservoir cap
Remove the cap at the reservoir
Replace the cap and wash area with a garden hose on a gentle spray
Take it to the car wash to flush everything remaining off
Repeat process on other cars till all done

I do it the same way. Just need to be sure not to run it dry.

0108 comes with the plastic cap and is a bit cheaper. Use the thin gasket. $72 delivered from Amazon. Worked great. Just used it to pressurize and without fluid in the tank.

Did the black plastic cap destroy the locking lug on the reservoir? ie: did you completely turn the cap past the lock each time you installed it and does the cap still lock?

Would like to know since the older version did destroy the locking lug if turned completely on until the cap hit the stop.

I do mine the same way. I like not having to clean the Motive. What's funny is that once you use it and see how cool it is, you want to change everyone's brake fluid.

No, on brake flush day, I do all my cars and never do it for 2 more years. Not interested in changing anyone's brake fluid. That is a job. Let them get a mechanic to be responsible for their brakes. I'm comfortable doing brakes, I'm not comfortable doing it for other people.

I haven't used one yet but just to be clear, as you bleed the brakes you just pressurize, bleed ,depressurize and refill the master cylinder and repeat. I know about bleeding brakes the old way with two people and not letting the master cylinder run dry.

With the tank, it is a 1 man job and you can pressurize it and just go round turning bleeder screws. May have to pressurize to say 20 psi a time or so but not much more. Pressurize, bleed, depressurize and clean up.

Worked fine. Just push down hard to compress the gasket as you turn it. I pumped it to 10-12 psi and it flowed great.

Mostly yes, but you should remove what fluid you can from the master cylinder and refill it with fresh fluid before initial pressurization.
