There is this car product being pushed on Facebook called Maxl One. It’s supposed to be the ultimate shine. Has anyone tried it? Is it worth the $50 it’s selling for?
I wouldn't trust anything I see on Facebook. The video on their web page shows them spraying the product on a dirty car and just wiping away the dirt. That's bound to just scratch the **** out of your paint. The fact that they offer a "miracle" cleaner and try encouraging horrible car cleaning habits has me saying run for the hills!

Facebook? Try Griots for sealant, wax, wash or polish. Their 3 In 1 is a great DIY Ceramic sealant to a CLEAN, WELL Prepared surface. There are dozens of quality products out there and you find one you use and like. I'm after longevity so I don't have to keep re-applying every 90 days and many of these products just don't last very long. A guy on YT did a test of 15 or 20 Ceramic coatings on a black hood he left out in the Texas weather for a full year and did monthly tests, Griot's and 4 others in his top 5 were still beading water at the 1 year mark. Many of them failed before 90 days.

If that's how they advertise their product, I would agree, run away and find something better.
It looks more like a cleaner and not so much a polish. I wouldn't start cleaning my car with a liquid and polish rag. A great way to micro scratch the paint. It's for sale all over the net.
Are you looking for a good polish?
This is the best product I have ever used. This is used to remove small and micro scratches on your cars paint. Most every scratch removers I have tried leave a not to shinny surface. This stuff removes scratches and leaves the surface shinny. It does take some elbow work to remove scratches but is totally amazing. A must for any car guy.
I tried it on the advice of a coworker (owns C8, BMW, Lexus, etc.) and my results were mixed. First i used it on the C5 which was mostly clean just partially dusty - it came out looking great. Car still pops and is slick to the touch 2 weeks later.
Also tried it on the Caddy and i probably used to much product because there were streaks after i was done. Also it probably doesn't help that the Caddy is black. I contacted the company and they advised me on how to get rid of the streaks which was fairly easy so i used a damp towel and buffed the streaks out by hand. Looks much better afterwards and the shine is intense. Have not used this product on the C7 yet mostly due to weather.
Is it worth the money? Guess that is up to you to decide. I would wash the car first though and not apply to a dirty vehicle. Also if you are like me and used to products like Meguiars (which is still a good product) then you'd be wise to dilute part of this with distilled water so its not quite as strong. They say to only spray 2 light sprays per panel as it goes a long way and dries very fast. Also i believe they said one 20oz bottle would treat 8-10 cars.
I bought it and can’t tell you yet as I only used it once . Water is beading. I did get streaks on my black but I think I used too much. Weather has been **** here in Jersey this week, but I hope to try it again this weekend if rain finally stops. First round I did it in the parking lot with pollen all over it. Next time I am washing first. I have a couple other quick dental products so I may try two on the car in different areas to compare.
I just bought and tried it. It was very spendy, but I am impressed at the outcome. Very shiny and smooth. I wiped in on with one micro fiber towel, and buffed it off with a clean one. My black centennial has never looked better. Even my black centennial wheels have never looked as good as they do now.
I don't know why advertising on Facebook is bad. That is where people are at, what is wrong with advertising there and how does that make a product bad. It seems to me that most all negative comments about this product are from people who have not tried it.
I applied this product last week, got caught in the rain yesterday for about 30 miles. Today I couldn't believe how clean looking my black car still was after driving through that rain.
I used it for the first time this weekend. After first applying it, it looked great in my shop. I applied it in there to keep it out of the sunlight. But after driving the car around a little and then parking it in the sunlight, I could see some streaking. I then got a couple dry microfiber towels and "buffed" the whole car by hand. Now it looks amazing and the car is super slick to the touch. So I think the application is lot more temperamental than they make it look in the ads, but IMO the product is pretty good.

I tried the 16oz bottle and then I bought a gallon. I love it. I think it works great.
We no longer have our Corvettes, but my wife has a 2025 Toyota Camry and I have a 2021 Mazda CX-30. We have the "unlimited wash" package at the local drive-through car wash place (felt curtains - not brushes). It does a great job on both of them. They are always garaged and my wife even has a parking deck where she works - which helps with keeping them clean. I also have an old 2004 F-150 truck that sits outside and only gets washed by hand every so often (it is our spare vehicle).
On all three of them, I used the Meguiar's "Waterless Wash and Wax" (but never when they're very dirty). It looks like milk and is available at Walmart for less than $10. A bottle will easily do 7 or 8 cars. Using the "wax on - wax off" method with two micro fiber towels provides outstanding results. No scratches or anything. Spray some on, buff it to a haze, wait a few minutes and then use the other towel to buff it to a lustrous shine. Are there more costly products on the market? Sure. Do they honestly work a lot better? I don't think so. Meguiar's, Adam's and Griot's all make good stuff. So do the Chemical Guys. If you keep your car clean on a regular basis, it is much easier than trying to 'restore' a neglected finish.
I get compliments all the time on the shiny Soul Red color of the Mazda and the lovely Ocean Gem "aqua" color on the Camry.
I have seen those ads on Facebook too - and they probably spend so much money on advertising that they must charge a very high price for their products.
P.S. If we ever did get another Corvette, it would probably be Red Mist or a shade similar to the Elkhart Lake Blue we had on my wife's 2019 Stingray.
I've used it on my 2011 Jetstream Blue Vette before it was rear end total and it worked very well without streaking. I just recently purchased a 2017 Admiral Blue LT1 automatic and I going to hold off on applying Maxi One due to I want to clay bar the paint surface to remove contaminants from the surface. The surface prep makes a very drastic huge difference when applying these products.
I saw these Facebook videos and seeing I stay on top of my car I have used Adam's products for almost 20 years. I have tried a few different products but always a name brand just to see if they were better then Adams. What MAXKONE does not mention, is they sell more than just this product. They have MAXEASY and MAXDETAIL. I did send an email asking about the MAXLONE being used on a dirty car, and they replied that it is not intended to be used on dirty cars as they should be washed first, but more like a waterless wash product. The MAXEASY is to be used on a clean car as a spray on rinse off application and of course their MAXDETAIL is just that a detail spray.
