My 2016 C7 Stingray did not come with factory NPP. So I ordered a set of factory NPP take-offs along with EOS catless x-pipe and installed them. LOVE the sound with exhaust wide open. BUT also wanted it to operate just like it would have had it came from the factory with NPP. So I bit the bullet and ordered the Akrapovic NPP Controller from RPI (thank you RPIDON for helping me out with this). I installed it today and it is a pretty straight forward install. The full color install manual is very detailed and made it a piece of cake to get all hooked up. YES you have to remove the lower part of the rear bumper, but that takes all of 5 minutes to remove and that is taking your time. Really is very simple to get that lower bumper piece off. Got it installed and all put back together and it works just like it does from the factory with NPP. Is it $600 worth of materials? Absolutely not. But forgetting about the price, is it worth it to have it operate like it was there from the factory? Absolutely!!!!! And I'd do it all over again.
If anybody has questions about the install or the product in general feel free to shoot me a PM.

I've got NPP on my 2014, but..
I find it interesting that there is a way to retrofit and integrate a stand-alone NPP system using a combination of OEM and non-OEM parts.
Congratulations on your new sound system. Very innovative.
So you change the exhaust with the rotary mode dial as well as the sound management controls on the infotainment screen? Everything I've read on here about this controller stated only the rotary mode selector worked; the sound management options on the screen did not work.

After installing I cranked car and navigated to sound management and put it in auto and it noticeably changed from the track mode that was selected and car was currently in touring mode with rotary ****. Then as I clicked thru each setting on the **** it changed with mode I was in. I will go back and double check and see if it changes with each mode using the screen instead of the ****. Will update after checking/verifying.
Update ...it only changes with ****. Odd the first time I selected auto in menu settings it changed sound 🤷 nice catch!
