A little clarification? I bought tires from DT but the road hazard warranty was extra. If you buy it from a Costco, they throw in the warranty but other shops, it is extra. Some places don't even offer it. So if the shop you were at didn't offer it, what difference does documentation make?
As I turned out, I didn't need the coverage and learned to avoid that dealer, a worthwhile lesson.

This was years ago, DT was including the Road Hazard coverage with no additional charge. I don't know if that was a short time sale or what. But if I'd bought direct from DT then, I would have had the coverage for the same price I paid to the dealer and didn't get the coverage. Before buying from the dealer, I asked and they said the RH coverage was included at that price.
As I turned out, I didn't need the coverage and learned to avoid that dealer, a worthwhile lesson.
