As is my luck, the OEM wheels on our 2016 ZO6 decided to start a crack while we were 300 miles from home. Had it looked at a tire place. The consensus is we’ll get home ok. (ETA: We did)
Now… need new wheels. NOTE: CHROME ONLY !!
Everyone has their opinions, but I like the OEM look. Any suggestions ? Thanks !! (Not really interested on a "patch job" to the cracked wheel since there's the possibility of another crack showing up.
Trusted Vendor names needed also.
Thanks in advance.
PS I have the letter GM sent about the wheels. I don't qualify under any of their criteria. Spoke to someone who actually qualified: They haven't gotten anything ($$) from GM yet.
I bought a set of full forge wheels that matched the OEM grand sport wheels. I got them from Gem Motor Sports off eBay. The wheels are nice and they return your calls. Takes 6 weeks for chrome. I think the model was G8. The chrome was not as good as the OEM chrome. Had some orange peel on the side of the spokes. There price was a little over $3,000 with free shipping.
I f you want OEM Chrome wheels again, this vendor has them at great prices. I have a 2016 Z06 with chrome wheels I really like, so I just bought a spare set & have been lucky with 70K miles with no cracks, but have bent a couple which I have had straightened.

I can't figure out how to work that website. I go to a wheel model I am interested in, click on it, and nothing happens (it doesn't take me to a page with details about the wheel and the price).
