Default Touchscreen protector inside!

I bought a touch screen protector and while I was test fitting, it slipped out of my fingers and fell inside. It is now behind the buttons/*****.
The up down button still closes and opens the touch screen without any interference.
Now, how involved is it to remove it? Is it okay to just leave it there and hope nothing will happen.

Urrrghhh. What a start to my day!!!!!

I had the same thing happen to me when I tried to install my screen protector. It dropped down into the abyss. The screen was still able to open and close without any problems so I just left it and ordered another one to install.

Sorry this happened to you too but good to know that you have not any problems leaving it down there.
Out of desperation, I tried to MacGyver a vacuum attachment hoping I can suck it out. LOL.

How about something thin and rigid with a piece of tape on the end to stick into the abyss?

I thought about this but I might make it worst if the tape does not make it out of the abyss.

Does anyone have instructions on how to remove plastic housing so I can access beneath the buttons?

Good luck, hope you can somehow get the protector out of there.

I tried again closing the screen, I heard a snap, crackle and pop. The screen protector broke into pieces while in there.

Same thing happened to me!! I just left if. For a few months I heard a crunching whenever I opened it. Now I do not hear anything when opened.

If I was to attempt again, I will cover the opening with some painters tape so I don't lose a second one!

It's all been a day and after a dozen cycles, I don't hear anything anymore.
Now I am debating whether or not I want to remove all that shrapnel inside or just leave it be. I am not even going to attempt Round 2.

I guess I accidentally discovered the answer and never realized it... I've never lowered my screen.
