Default Plexi Wind Deflectors?

Wondering if anyone has one of these in their coupe. Less for looks and more for function, do they help? I would be hoping for less wind with the top out, no huge drawback to cargo area space, and with the heat we are seeing it makes sense to me that it might help cool the cabin faster with a partial wall behind you. If you have one in your coupe, how do you like it?

Just to be clear (no pun intended), Plexiglass is a trade name for PMMA - polymethylmethacrylate. I believe the wind restrictors are made of polycarbonate - Lexan is the trade name.

PO said his wife thought it helped. I removed it when I bought the car and never tried it.
