I accidentally set off the an alarm today that I wasn’t even aware was on the car. In a hurry and put in sport and not drive. Hit it when an another car came up on me and the bells and whistles went crazy. Has anyone else experienced this. It’s a 2019 Stingray. Drove about 10 miles home doesn’t seem to be any harm.
Sounds like he meant to say- “ put I in manual , not drive” . In which case it would have stayed in 1st gear, if he didn’t shift, you would have no problem hitting the rev limiter. Hopefully, no harm done.
Yes, I did mean manual, my wife’s Land Rover is sport or drive. I was only about 2 miles from home so it wasn’t completely warmed up. Last time I noticed the tack red line was around 6.
