Can someone tell me are the C7 OEM non MRC shocks the same on the base and Z51? GM parts shows one number for both.
Where can I find the part number for the base corvette shocks?

I replaced the base shocks with non-magride Z51 shocks and they are definitely larger diameter.

The Z51 shocks are also firmer.

The cars with Mag Ride which is an additional $2,000 factory only (no retrofit) option above the Z51 performance package, have electronically controlled shocks. You can easily check, if you have a wire running to the top front shocks, you have mag ride. It's important to note again, Z51 Performance Package Eben on later C7's does not include mag ride. Mine does not. Without the Mag Ride shocks the Z51 package does include other suspension changes, I don't know if that includes shocks or not.
