Default Memory Seats

I have a 2019 Stingray 2LT.
The exit function works just fine. Upon reentering the car and starting the engine the seat(driver) does not automatically return to my position 1 and even holding the position 1 does nothing I then readjust the seat to my liking and reset position 1 and i get the 2 beeps. I can stay in the car and manually change the seat position and the press position 1 and the seat will go to it's preset position. If I then get out of the car the exit position activates and when I re entering the car and start it the seat does not automatically return to my set position and will not move when I press position 1. The seat can be adjusted using the buttons on the side so I am at a loss trying to figure this out, any suggestions will be a great help,
Thanks EtidW

Make sure you program the exit position so the seat is at least 1/8" forward of the rear limit. I would try this first. It doesn't like being on the rear-most limit and this is the most common problem I've seen on the forum.

Also double check if the remote you are using is recognized as number one or two. I only got one remote with my car and it was programmed as number two. Memory seat was getting me crazy. Now I know it's number two I just set memory 2.
(already got an additional remote will program soon)

2015 ZO6. My seat does not return to driving position every time from exit position. Only intermittent. But it always goes to driving position when emergency brake is on. Not sure why

The Key Fobs match the program you set. If you set it witu fob one and use fob 2. Your settings wont transfer over. Its made for each person to use the same fobs but automatically have their own settings because they are using their fob. Could that be it?

Yup. Easy Entry requires the parking brake be set on an M7 (what I have) and car in Park in auto. I didn't see any mention of this in the Owner's Manual.

Nice the reference video (thx!). It think that this addresses the same issue I've been having. I always have my seat, slid as far as back as possible. This one tip by itself, would seem to fix my issue. Thanks again!

The first thing to try is using the seat position switches on the side of the seat to move the seat or seat back slightly forward, then push and hold the seat position button (either 1 or 2) to see if the seat will move forward to its set position, incrementally move the seat/seat back forward until the seat will move to its set position.

The exit position setting seems to vary over time on some vehicles. If the seat bottom or seat back is too far to the rear, the seat stop switch mounted to the bulkhead behind the seat will prevent the seat from moving automatically. Reset your exit position so the seat is no longer opening the bulkhead switch. Over a period of time, you may find you need to reset the exit position again. That is what happens with my car. The seat will advance from the exit position for a couple of months and then intermittently advance from the exit position for a few weeks and then stop advancing altogether. Over 10 years, I learned to reset the seat exit whenever the seat started to get finicky. Most of the time I find the seat back position is the culprit and maybe that is just due to my pushing the clutch pedal while the seat is in the exit position. The pressure placed on the seat back as I stretch my left leg forward may be just enough to gradually force the seat back out of adjustment.

One other thing I did was to ensure the seat settings for both FOBs are the same.

Check your Vehicle settings.
You can set the driver position when you open the door or upon ignition.
It is in the Auto Memory Recall.
You can turn it on or off in the menu

Also, if your seat back is not fully latched in place the seat will not move automatically.
