wonder if anyone is facing this issue too
So driving my c7 corvette stingray to a specific city (40 minutes) drives normal but when headed back the car overheats and notice the temperature reading still at 100
I don't know if leaving it out in the sun (where I parked) had something to do with it but with the overheating after turning it off the fans will stay on for more than an hour so I had to disconnect the battery and waited 30 minutes and reconnect and everything goes back to normal. after doing that I haven't notice any overheating issue everything is cooling the car. I checked the coolants and it still pretty full.
can someone help me with this issue
Your symptoms sound like you have a bad thermostat or temperature sensor. Cycling power resets but it will occur again. Mine was a bad thermostat when that happened.
I agree. Whenever my 2014 Z51 overheats, I always notice the cooling fans not running. I turn the Vette off, and re-start it. Then the fans will run as normal. Coolant levels are fine. So I suspect either a bad t-stat or temp sensor, which "confuses" the fans into sometime shuting off but not coming back on.

Common failure on the 14s. Replace the fan with the 600-watt fan used by the 2015 and newer Z06s. Works like a charm and you don't have to stop and start the engine.

had this happen on my 14 z51 soon after i got it. it was the stock z51 fan. the early fans had an issue where they would stop randomly. i would just put the bigger 600watt z06 fan on since its a relatively cheap but solid upgrade.
Never had this issue again after the swap and it has been 4 years.
