Default MRC upgrade question

Hi all,

I recently had the MRC upgrade performed on my 2017 Z06/Z07. The dealership initially had a tough time getting the information but in the end seemed to get it right. They produced the instructions that I have seen floating around the forums referencing Instruction ID PART 84353676 and document ID 4873206. This seems to be correct and the upgrade was performed. I "think" I can feel a difference but the warm fuzzy of checking the AC Delco TDS/SPS calibration information is not showing what I have seen for others to confirm the upgrade. I have attached a screenshot of what I am seeing so far about a week after the upgrade. Is this something to continue to pursue, or just assume it's done and the money spent was worth it. I was charged 375.00 so that checks out for pricing as well. Appreciate any inputs, thanks.

It may take a while for the site to update. I had mine done this spring and it took a week or so for it to show up. Also I didn't notice a big difference after the calibration at first, but after a few weeks of driving it was more notable.

Found this site too. It's hard finding the link to the correct one anymore. It doesn't provide as much detail as the above but could show the updated status.

https://tis2web.service.opel.com/tis2web/

Mine says 84353677 N/A - New calibration to support performance parts and motor sport catalog customers.

The link does work for me and I was able to check, but it shows the same thing so far. I will keep checking both of these for updates over the next couple weeks. Thanks again for the information.

Can you put a link to the site you were using? Might help people searching for a current link.

Sure! I was using this link https://www.acdelcotds.com. I found it in another thread while googling about the MRC upgrade. I believe Bill provided it. You have to create an account and then use the SPS calibration information link under the resources drop down. It will open another tab and let you input your VIN.

Wanted to update this post. As of 13 Feb 2026 the site still doesn't show the update.... Now I guess I get to have fun talking to the dealership.

Your profile doesn't show where you live, but on the bombed-out roads of the Midwest the improvement from the upgrade was apparent the next day on our Z51 w/MagRide.

I just did mine recently and it shows. Your dealership probably did something wrong.
