I ran the Michelin AS/3's for the past 5 years and just put a set of Continental DWS06+'s on. Will have them on the car this weekend after I ceramic the rims. Looking forward to them after hearing good things!

DWS and the later DWS06 and DWS06+ are the gold standard of "All Season" tires (I think even better than the Michelins which are a close second). But "All Weather" tires are surpassing them. Not sure we get any All Weather in C7 sizes yet. The two "leaders" in All Weathers are the Michelin CrossClimate 2 and the Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2s.

On my fourth set of Continentals. They perform well, dry or wet. Good life as well. Current ones are Extreme Sport DWS 06 PLUS.

@Woodson Sorry was away for a few days.

I mounted these and took them out in the freezing temps after being a little surprised that they were 1" narrower than the AS/3's that came off. I was not expecting a good result. Probably have 200 miles on them now.

I must say I am absolutely blown away at the grip these things have compared to my worn and 5 year old AS/3's. Certainly the older tires were spent and losing their bite, but I do not remember the AS/3's ever gripping this well. That goes for forward and lateral grip. I'm VERY happy with the performance and I pushed them pretty hard.

Looks - 8 (AS/3 9+ because they look wider) - Advantage AS/3
Grip - 9+ (AS/3 7 and sinking fast, maybe an 8 when new from my memory) - Advantage continentals
Price - Continentals were approx $400 less than AS/4s now (AS/3's are extinct) - Advantage continentals

Overall very pleased and surprised to say that. I honestly thought I would not be happy because I am grumpy bastard. For the price, these things are awesome.

Note: I have no idea how they will age or drive in the rain yet, but after a couple hundred dry/cold miles I am very happy.

That is really my only complaint about my DWS06+ tires is that the tread width isn't as wide as many other tires (especially vs the OEM MPSS) so they don't look as aggressive. But other than that they are the perfect street tire for me.

Thank you for this. I ended up buying these since I didn't have any other options so I am glad to hear you are very happy with them. They are sitting in my garage waiting to get mounted. These are replacing my winter tires that aren't worn but have aged out. I don't drive in the snow much anymore, hence the A/S instead of winters. I'll still run the OEM's in the summer for the superior grip. Cheers.
