Default Auto Direct Corvette

Does anybody have any dealings or know of Bob from Auto Direct Corvettes in Edgewater, New Jersey. They/he have a 2019 z06 I’m interested in. They claim to have 140 cars in inventory and have a 5 star rating. I live in California so it’s not a quick trip to view the car. Thanks in advance for any input.

No personal experience but I see cars for sale when I'm on the internet looking. Priced a bit high but seem like nice cars. I believe they're a forum vendor. Like all purchases, have it checked out.

I considered purchasing a car from ADC, but it sold before I was able to make an offer. I've been told that they do not negotiate much on the sell price and there are several advertising claims that can't be substantiated. They seem to have a large inventory with a nice showroom. IN my opinion, purchasing a car sight unseen requires a bit of trust in the salesperson/dealership. I did it once and vowed never again.

Have not had any personal experience with them, but yes, they are a forum supporting vendor. Hopefully someone on the forum has some comments for you.

Thanks for the replies. I’m having it checked out by the local Chevy dealership and I’m flying out Sunday to see the car in person.

Do some leg work yourself....buy a Carfax & get a GMVIS report from your local Chevy dealer to see some of the car's history. You are doing the right thing by looking at the car in person

They have a couple 2019 Z06's I like but one is like 90k and the other 93k. They've been sitting for months with no price reductions.

They have nice cars but their prices seem high. About a year and a half ago I passed on a private party sale for a 2019 ZR1 for $135k. Shortly thereafter, ADC ended up with the car, listed it for $185k and would not budge on the price. I don't know what the car sold for.

Yes there prices are high. When I bought my 17 Z06 I was looking there. They had 2 Z06’s that I was actually looking at from the original sellers. They took a lot less to sell them to them and than the e prices were much higher when I looked at them which is normal. My friend bought his 19 Z06 and is very happy with it. But they don’t seem to budge on the prices.

I bought a 2016 3LT base sight-unseen a few months back - I checked the CARFAX and called the Chevy dealership that had been servicing it for many years and was the last to service it - talked to the service manager - turns out he was familiar with the car and the owner and said I "could not go wrong with that car." And so far - 1.5k miles later - it looks and runs great!

Thanks for all the responses. Nice to hear first hand experiences and feedback. I’m not at all an impulse buyer and do my research on any large purchases. I ended up flying to PA to see and drive the 2019 z06 and it was everything I thought it would be. The right exterior color, interior color and package, one owner (who I was able to track down and talk to), very low miles, no hit car. The local Chevy dealership, who I had inspect the car found no mechanical issues, but noticed a nail in the right rear tire which ADS replaced. They came down very little on the price, so I paid all the money, but it was exactly what I have been looking for. Got in it and drove it back to California. Doubled the mileage in 4 days and love the car. All the response are true, easy to deal with, but hold steady on their prices. Thanks again for the replies.

I am looking at a 2016 Z06 with only 2K miles. I see comments where they don't reduce the price very much. Can I ask how much discount you got off of sticker.

Thanks

I spoke with Bob a few years back because I was interested in purchasing a Z06 he had in inventory that he had just taken in. Their review of the car indicated that it had issues and would not sell it to me. I spoke to him several times after that as he was trying to find me one like the one he has but I happen to find one first. He seemed legit to me and he has been around for a long time.

A few of our All American Corvette Club members bought cars from there, no issues I am aware of.
