How to replace a broken camera with a new one on a 2014 C-7 ?

Remove bumper cover
Replace camera
Reinstall bumper cover



Some will remove the rear diffuser
Replace camera
Reinstall rear diffuser

Generally the diffuser route is a little easier

I have a 2016 and the camera is working well now. However, among C7 owners (especially 2014–2016), camera issues are widely reported online. Replacement cost at a dealer can be $400–$700 (parts & labor). DIY replacement with an OEM camera ($120–$200 part only) is possible if you are comfortable with basic tools.
