Corsa systems
Thinking of changing the exhaust on my 2019 GS manual and wondering why there are two different valved systems offered from Corsa. One has the over axle pipes and one does not for a $560 difference.
I do not have the AFM valves. Seems logical you can save $560 and get the cheaper system??

I know it says auto with NPP and manual with NPP version, but a manual with NPP is the same system as the auto just without AFM valves.

Does you car have V4 mode in eco? If it does, it has AFM valves.

BUT,,,, does your car go into V4 mode when you are in eco mode? The NPP valves have nothing to do with AFM valves.

Did someone remove the AFM valves? Are you looking into the rear of the exhaust and don't have the valves?

I think you are confusing AFM valves and NPP valves.
The valves you see in the tips are the NPP valves. AFM valves are further up where you can't see them.

If you have V4 mode, you have AFM valves unless someone has removed them. I know where the NPP valves and AFM valves are.
Is your car a ZR1? The ZR1 is the only C7 that does not have AFM valves.
Removing these valves will set off engine codes and check engine light.

2019 GS manual I bought with 8000 mi and a non-modified exhaust. I DO NOT have AFM valves and whether my car does V4 mode in eco is a moot point lol

2017 and up the AFM valves were removed in Z51/GS/Z M7s. They were retained in the A8s.

Or let me further clarify, yes I have AFM engine feature....I do not have AFM VALVES. Maybe this has been the confusion.
Anyways, I just said screw it and called Corsa, you can use the cheaper 14776 system to save some money.

@smitty2919 but do you have AFM? LOL (Joking) Looks like the GS M7 ones have more piping on the back of the mufflers, probably a fitment issue if you go with the less expensive ones. but id reach out to corsa to confirm

No AFM valves in the exhaust of all C7 Grand Sports, Z06's or ZR1's. Only us lowly Stingray folks get those.

WOW! You are correct, I am wrong. I don't know why there is so much contradicting info out there. I found where GM removed just the valves on the 2017 Manual cars and newer but still kept the AFM. Beer is on me!

Corsa said the muffler PN's in their BOM are the same between the systems and should work. I'm not sure I'm 100% on that given the price tag lol
Wishful thinking??

Corsa makes a great exhaust system, and I would bet you’ll love the exhaust, but that is a heck of a difference in price between the two versions.

If you have a manual grand sport then you don't need the AFM valves, auto grand sport yes.
You would have to cut and clamp/weld on your stock exhaust over pipes to the Corsa one, the other one is straight bolt on.
We have both in stock and can help you answer any questions.
