Vehicles must have a minimum 5" in ground clearanceVehicles must have a maximum width of 80'' or 6'8'' to fit Dual axles or tires wider than 13.5" don't fit in the wash.
.... so size wise, maybe good in a Mr clean but wind deflectors, spoilers, skirts, mirrors that don't fold.... can be an issue....
Mine is ALWAYS hand washed. But I had it professionally ceramic coated so really all it takes is rinsed with the hose and dried off with my leaf blower.
I saw an image from another thread that showed an automatic car wash with a belt drive system in which the tire width did not matter.
In a moment of weakness I took my C6 through our car wash and it was a disaster. The rear tire kept popping up out of the track, eventually popping over the push mechanism. There were other cars behind me, so I had to drive it through the rest of the way, still getting a thorough wash. I was sweating it, but no damage to the wheels or tires. I will never do that again. I now only do touchless.
will the tires of a c7 stingray fit the track at a car wash??
Yes, no, maybe? I think the old ones, maybe not if they were not built for wider tires. I have taken the C4, C7 and now the F250 and the wife's Cayenne through car washes. The one we often use is the one with track. Guy guides you onto the rail and you leave the car in neutral. He hoses down the car before running the wash. It pulls you along from there to the blow dryers. That ones a brushed one so him hosing down the car makes sure you don't get a mud truck going in first. Without knowing which wash, it would be hard to say.
