Remote start no longer works. Lock, then start button results in the turn signal lights flash on and off, that's it. No DIC warning that fob battery is low. Changed to new battery anyway. Still doesn't work. Any clues or knowledge on this issue? I did a search on Internet and surprisingly, not solid answer came up.
Is your hood closed? If not, that will keep remote start from working.
Let me go check. I've had no reason to open it, but I do recall some sort of problem a couple of months ago with the hood that said it was open when it wasn't.

I think that was it! I opened and closed the hood and still no go. So I opened and closed the hood a couple more times and that worked. Tested it out several times after that and it still works. Thanks! Now I'm wondering if there's a bad sensor or something that makes it think the hood is open.
Cool beans, glad you narrowed it down to the hood.
I'm not sure if the hood switch can be adjusted and my car is in storage for the winter so I can't look at it.

Thanks to you! I appreciate it. And you also say, "Cool beans." Cool beans!
Did you change the battery in your key fob only or also the car battery? If this continues, it may be wise to pay your local dealership a visit for a diagnosis. We wouldn't want you missing out on a core feature like remote start on your Corvette.
