Which TPMS sensors do you buy? Do I need anything else with regards to TPMS sensors to go with Apex aftermarket forged wheels? thanks in advance

They offer a few different kinds. Do you know which model? Did you buy valves also?

I changed my wheels and figured as soon as I got them, on the car, my TPMS would go dead. I replaced all of mine. They should fit any wheel you are getting.

The last thing I wanted, is to install new expensive wheels, and then have the tires removed to just replace dead TPMS batteries.

Absolutely! You may as well change them out with the new wheels. For the exact reason you said👍

Are you installing it yourself? If not, what are you trying to achieve bringing your own TPMS sensors to the shop? If there is a problem either there and then or down the road, are you also expecting them to get involved on your behalf? I was asked this and it might be pertinent to your case. "When you and the wife go out to eat, do you bring your own steak to the restaurant for them to cook?". My addition to that is "Assuming they do cook it for you and if you don't like it, who is responsible?". FYI, I learned that the hard way. Bought my own parts to the trans shop for them to assemble. A bit later, when things went sideways, they blamed the parts and the parts supplier blamed the installer. Guess who paid the bill to redo?

I have always bought GM sensors from a GM parts distributor, but Rock Auto does have some good deals on parts.

The Schrader TPMS are exactly the same as GM. Schrader is the GM supplier.

Schrader valves 20223 is what you want, they are preprogrammed and all you need to do is install them and drive for a little. They automatically sync. If they don’t, discount told me to use a big magnet by the tire where the TPMs is at and it should for a relearn.

What about the things they say are not included? Do you buy them separately or reuse the old ones?
