Speaking of garages....
I have a former co-worker who bought a house that was not big but had a 3-car detached garage. The square footage of his house is smaller than his garage. But his house does have a basement so it technically has more room (basements are not counted in a houses square footage here if they are entirely below grade).
Now that is what I call a "good ratio" I'd love a garage as big as my current house, even if it was just the first floor which I estimate to be 1600 or 1700 sq feet.

This is what attracted me when I purchased this home. A garage with an attached house! 😄

Love seeing the American flag in a lot of the garage photos!
Here is my bay in the garage.

I don't leave mine out all the time (the flag) it's not properly lit, so it goes up and down with holidays. I refuse to fly a flag in the dark.

Ohhhh. Good point!! I’ll need to remedy that. Thanks.
(I’m doing some research on lighting the flag while displayed indoors)

The Boy Scouts taught me a few important skills:
1. how to make a fire
2. how to widdle with a knife
3. how to shoot a gun
4. how to treat a flag
I never got past being a Star Scout (two levels below Eagle) but I learned the important stuff.

I especially like the C2 on the end. It has always been my dream car. Maybe there will be one parked in the driveway of my mansion when I get to heaven

I am sure the grey floor really helped deal the deal.
Are those foreign cars leakers or do they get the special black carpet treatment?

Similar to me. I could have been an eagle, but I got my cuda first at 16, BSA went down hill for me pretty quick after that.

yep just some racedeck tiles to direct the slush and salt. Mostly the Q5 sees the winter elements. The S5 would be great in the snow but decided to keep it pristine.

With the chair in the foreground, I suspect there have been many conversations in the shop while seated by the girls.

Yup the conversations are many(along with a few beers),but not today, the temp will be in the mid sixties and dry so the C2 and the Z06 are going out for a little exercise to take advantage of the unusally warm weather here in mid Mo.Merry Christmas to all !
