Default Memory Seat Issue

2017 SR 2LT - when I start the car the seat doesn't automatically adjust. The display does show the key fob # and it starts fine. If I push button 1 or 2 the seat and steering wheel kind of just bump but don't really move, if I manually adjust/move the seat slightly then push the button the everything will adjust correctly. I've had this happen from time to time in the past but for the last few weeks it's been every time I get in the car. No other symptoms and no stored fault codes. Car is driven several days a week, but I don't keep it on a battery tender.

Thanks,
Alen

I just found an older thread that suggested the seat limiter could be the issue. I'll try adjusting the exit settings.

If you were right on the edge of making that rear limit switch it could make the problem intermittent. Are you saying you press and hold button 1 or 2 and it just bumps? You can't just press and let off. You have to press and hold those buttons until all the pre-programmed positions have been reached, then you let off. Also make sure you move the seat slightly forward (1/8" to 1/4" fwd of the limit) before you press those 1 or 2 buttons.

Yes, was holding the buttons. Confirmed it is the exit setting moving the seat so far back the limiter was on.

Ditto on making sure the seat isn't all the way back when setting it.

Good luck - hope the issue is a simple fix.
